Reports say that new coach Srecko Juricic has outlined his plans for his new team. He will be calling up his foreign-based players in addition to the local based ones for Oman’s next assignment, the Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia from April 8-20.

The players that he will be calling up are Bader Al Maymani and Imad Al Hossani from Saudi Arabian club Al Riyadh, Ali Al Habsi from SFK Lyn of Norway, Al Nasr of Kuwait’s duo Hamdi Houbess and Saeed Al Shoun and from UAE, Ahmad “Kanu” Mobarak from Al Ain.

This is brilliant news and will be the first time the national team will be playing together since the Gulf Cup final. Will be great to see them play as it’s been a boring few months without any games.
